The experience of the countryside with its sights is never complete without local gastronomy. When planning and compiling the menu, we always create something special that only belongs to us. In our hotel, you can experience the typical tastes of the area, the fantasy of the countryside and the tastes you got used to when eating your grandparents’ home-cooked food. We reformed our old traditional dishes to make them modern and make them with new technology and care.

Supreme chicken breast with baby vegetables and cheese sauce
We offer all kinds of meat like chicken, beef, pork, local game and many of our dishes are made with some local mushrooms.
Duck breast, potatoes with rosemary and plum cream
Our plum cream is made from the local plum jam cooked in a big copper kettle for 24 hours.
Cheese or chicken fried in bread crumbs
Children love such dishes so we make them cheese, chicken fried in bread crumbs or spaghetti.
Yoghurt cake with raspberry
Also, ice cream is made from fresh local fruit. Give our desserts a try.
Cottage cheese covered with chocolate and blueberry sauce
It is one of the favourites, but our pancakes filled with apple and cinnamon served with forest fruit sauce are also loved
Reformed catfish goulash
The catfish is stewed in vacuum at a low temperature to keep the vitamins. This dish is served with noodles with cottage cheese baked in paste and paprika sauce
Goose leg, potatoes baked in the oven, steamed red cabbage and jam from leek and onion

We take perfectly ripened grapes, grown on the rich volcanic soil of our vineyards. We mature our wines in Zemplén oak barrels in the Ungvári Wine Cellars in Sátoraljaújhely, a World Heritage site.

Visit our cellars and try our wines. You can taste award-winning wines in the Ungvári Wine Cellars in Sátoraljaújhely. On demand, home-cooked hot or cold dishes are also served. Home-made Swabian bacon, sausages, goat cheese and of course the unforgettable aroma of the wines from Tokaj are provided.
